When can subsidized childcare be authorized for CCMEP program participants?
Answer:

Subsidized child care can be authorized for a CCMEP program participant who is an OWF work-eligible with an IOP or any CCMEP participant with an IOP that includes at least one of the qualifying activities for subsidized childcare as defined in 5101:2-16-30 of the OAC. The four approved service categories in CCMEP are:

  • Occupational skills training
  • Paid and unpaid work experience
  • Alternative secondary school services or dropout recovery
  • Education concurrent with workforce preparation activities

If a program participant needs assistance paying an old bill to obtain utility services, is this allowable through CCMEP?
