Question:

What is needed from a CCMEP program participant who is an OWF recipient in order to be eligible for subsidized child care?

Answer:

A completed individual opportunity plan (IOP) is needed. The IOP replaces the self-sufficiency contract for OWF recipients in CCMEP and should be treated like a self-sufficiency contract. OAC rule 5101:1-3-11.

If a program participant needs assistance paying an old bill to obtain utility services, is this allowable through CCMEP? Are there any limitations on paying mileage reimbursement for TANF funded CCMEP participants who are receiving OWF or employed?
