Question:

Is it appropriate for a Lead Agency to purchase a laptop as a supportive service?

Answer:

As long as the need is documented in the program participant’s IOP and it is a reasonable and necessary expense to reach self-sufficiency, this supportive service would be allowable. Consult the CCMEP Services Matrix for details.

If a program participant needs assistance paying an old bill to obtain utility services, is this allowable through CCMEP? Are there any limitations on paying mileage reimbursement for TANF funded CCMEP participants who are receiving OWF or employed? Are there any limitations on paying mileage reimbursement for TANF funded CCMEP participants who are un-employed? Are there any limitations on paying mileage reimbursement for WIOA funded CCMEP participants who are employed, un-employed or in education or training?
