Question:
Is a participant who is attending classes at an alternative school considered an in-school youth (ISY) or an out-of-school youth (OSY)?
Answer:

If the alternative school classes are funded by a local K-12 school system, the participant would be an ISY. But if the alternative school classes are not funded by a local K-12 school system, the participant would be an OSY.
