Question:
What is TANF funding eligibility criteria for CCMEP?
Answer:
Has (or has applied for) a social security number;
Is a United States citizen or non-citizen national or qualified alien as those terms are defined in rule 5101:1-2-30 of the Administrative Code;
Does not owe any of the cost of fraudulent TANF assistance paid to the individual;
Has been afforded the opportunity to register to vote;
Has gross income in the previous thirty calendar day period of less than two hundred per cent of the federal poverty level; and
Is one of the following:
A minor child;
The parent, specified relative, legal guardian or legal custodian of a minor child;
A non-custodial parent who lives in the state, but does not reside with his/her minor child(ren);
A pregnant individual; or
An individual age 18 to 24 that is part of a family that includes a minor child.
