OVERVIEW
Every four years, the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services is required by law to review the state's basic child support guidelines to determine if child support orders issued in accordance with the guidelines adequately provide for the needs of children. A Child Support Guidelines Advisory Council comprised of state and county child professionals, judges, magistrates, legislators, attorneys, and parent advocacy groups is established for each review. Links to previous years' Guideline Review Reports are posted below, as well as, information on the current advisory council.
