Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification (WARN) Act
The WARN act provides protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notification 60 calendar days in advance of plant closings and mass layoffs. WARN Notices are provided by employers to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, Bureau of WIA, Rapid Response Section. Included in this site are WARN notices from 1996 to the present.
