| The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services' Veteran Services Unit has announced a new program to assist veterans in obtaining or retaining employment leading to self sufficiency. The Veterans Rapid Response (VR2) program can provide funds for veterans who meet local Workforce Investment Board (WIB) eligibility criteria as a Dislocated Worker. These funds can be used for longer-term training, supportive services (up to $3,000), plus healthcare insurance premiums while in training and for 60 days after successfully completing training.
