The Ohio National Guard Tuition Grant

Eligibility:
The only individuals eligible for this program are OH residents who have a high school diploma or GED certificate and who enlist, re-enlist, or extend their current enlistment for six years of Selective Reserve duty in the ONG.

Benefits:
The ONG grant will cover 60% of the total tuition and general fee charges of state assisted colleges and universities in pursuit of an undergraduate degree. The Grant is limited to 12 quarters or 8 semesters and participants must remain enrolled as full time undergraduate student maintaining 12 credit hours or more per term.

Application:
Ohio National Guard Scholarship Program: The ONGSP will pay 100% of the tuition charges of state-assisted colleges and universities. For approved private or proprietary degree-granting institutions of higher education, the program will pay 100% of the average tuition charges of all state universities (see list enclosed at Appendix B). ONGSP is not available for courses not applicable to or leading to an Associate or Baccalaureate degree.
