The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services’ (ODJFS) Request for Proposals (RFP)#: R-89-14-0579, Actuarial Services for Ohio’s Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund, for the purpose of obtaining a qualified vendor to assist in the process of evaluating the current solvency strategy for Ohio's State Unemployment Trust Fund. This work will lead to an updating of the formula to ensure that the fund is solvent to meet the demands of Ohio's unemployed workers. The agency also plans to evaluate, and where necessary, update the agency’s benefit payout structure to ensure that the Unemployment Insurance Program in Ohio is serving a changing constituency (workforce) adequately, and the work of the vendor selected through this RFP process will also support the agency in that effort. This RFP is released by and the subsequent contract will be with ODJFS.
