The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) releases this Request for Letterhead Bids (RLB)#: R-67-07-0846 for the purpose of obtaining either a qualified medical organization to provide a qualified physician or a qualified individual physician who will serve as the Medical Director for the Office of Ohio Health Plans (OHP). For the purpose of this RLB, the term vendor shall be defined as a qualified individual physician or a qualified medical organization who will propose a qualified physician.

The selected vendor will be responsible for providing clinical leadership in the development of OHPs health care quality improvement agenda as well as representing ODJFS on clinical matters before the Medical Care Advisory Committee and its sub-committees. This RLB document is released by, and the subsequent contract will be with, ODJFS.

If interested vendors have a need to communicate regarding this RLB, they must contact ODJFS using one of the mechanisms provided for in RLB Section IV., Internet Question and Answer Period/RLB Clarification Opportunity, or Section XVII., Communication Prohibitions, of this RLB. Vendor proposals must be submitted to ODJFS in strict accordance with proposal submission instructions provided in Section IX., Format of Submission. Vendors are cautioned that communication attempts which do not comply with these instructions will not be answered, and that ODJFS will not consider any proposals submitted to any address other than the one provided in Section II., of this RLB.
