The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) releases this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of identifying qualified medical colleges, multi-specialty health care provider networks (HCPNs) or accredited Utilization Review Organizations (UROs) interested in providing Medical Technical Advisors (MTAs) to ODJFS. The selected MTAs will provide clinical expertise for surveillance and utilization review activities, quality assurance and fraud, waste and abuse detection as part of the administration of Ohio's Medicaid Program.
ODJFS is seeking professional services from currently licensed and credentialed professionals in all clinical specialties and sub-specialties, including, but not limited to: Dentists, Orthodontists and/or Dental Surgeons (DDS), Physicians (Allopathic & Osteopathic), including, but not limited to, Internal Medicine, General Medicine, Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Nephrology, Neurology, Oncology, Pathology, Pediatrics, Radiology, Rheumatology, Urology, Anesthesiology and/or Pain Management, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Plastic Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Podiatry, Neuropsychiatry, Psychology, Psychiatry, Optometry, Orthotist/Prosthetist, Pharmacy, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational, Speech and Hearing Therapy, Occupational Medicine and Physical Therapy.
All submissions must be received no later than the date, time and location as specified in Section 4.1 of the RFP.
