• Announcement June 23, 2006 - AMENDMENT TO RFP SECTION 1.5 - ANTICIPATED PROCUREMENT TIMETABLE. Vendors are hereby notified that structured interviews with qualifying vendors are planned for July 5 or July 6, 2006, not July 10, 11, or 12 as originally stated in the RFP (Section 1.5). Other than than this adjustment to the planned interview dates, all other provisions of the RFP remain unchanged by this amendment.

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) releases this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the purpose of obtaining a vendor to provide analyses, recommendations, report writing, and action steps to assist the Ohio Medicaid Administrative Study Council (MASC) to establish operational core competencies, mid-level structure, policies and procedures for a new Medicaid Department.

ODJFS seeks proposals from vendors with significant national health care insurance industry expertise, experience providing critical analysis in Medicaid management and information technology, and having the ability to assist the MASC staff by providing independent analyses, recommendations, action steps, and report writing.

This RFP is released by, and the subsequent contract will be with, ODJFS. The contract expected to result from this RFP process will be an agreement between ODJFS and the selected contractor.

If interested vendors have a need to communicate regarding this RFP, they must contact ODJFS using one of the mechanisms provided for in RFP Section 1.6, Internet Question and Answer Period/RFP Clarification Opportunity, or RFP Section 1.7, Communications Prohibitions, of this RFP. Vendor proposals must be submitted to ODJFS in strict accordance with proposal submission instructions provided in Section 4.1, Proposal Submission. Vendors are cautioned that communication attempts which do not comply with these instructions will not be answered, and that ODJFS will not consider any proposals submitted to any address other than the one provided in Section 4.1 of this RFP.
