Public Assistance Monthly Statistics (PAMS) Report

The Public Assistance Monthly Statistics (PAMS) reports statewide and county specific information on six ODJFS program areas:

  • OhioWorks First (OWF)
  • Title IV-E Foster Care and Adoption Assistance
  • Disability Assistance (DA)
  • Food Stamps
  • Medicaid (Title XIX)
  • Child Care programs.
For OWF and DA, the number of recipients, assistance groups, and expenditures are available. The number of children and gross dollar amounts expended are not currently reported for the Title IV-E Foster Care and Adoption Assistance programs. For the Medicaid program, the PAMS publications supply the number of eligible clients and total expenditures. The PAMS report also includes the number of children receiving child day care services by the county and for the state. In addition to the monthly publication, annual reports for the calendar year and the state fiscal year are available. The annual reports have tables containing the average monthly number of cases and recipients and total expenditures for these selected human services programs.r
