Instructor-led course descriptions:

Supervisors must first verify staff have met all training prerequisites, listed under the course description, before requesting training. We will not reserve a training slot for those not meeting prerequisites at the time of the training request.

Supervisors must include in their training requests:

    • Name of the training course, 
    • Complete first and last names, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of trainees,
    • Include your contact information in case we need to request additional information,
    • Include any name changes since last training or creating of the user name.

Email your training request no later than 1:00 pm on the Wednesday of the week prior to the scheduled training. After the listed individuals have been verified to have met prerequisites, they and their supervisors will receive an email confirming registration, class dates and times, and the address of the Regional Training Center. 

Local areas or offices may also request a technical assistance visit. During this visit, designated OWD staff will work with your staff at your location to help understand procedures or policies. Technical visits are not intended to, nor will they be, scheduled to replace training opportunities.

All scheduled training sessions outside of the Columbus Regional Training Center must have at least eight (8) registered trainees. Classes with less than eight will be canceled.
