Allocation & Expense Summaries for WIA Formula Funds Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funding is allocated to Ohio's 20 local areas using WIA law and the formula shown in the reports below. Additional WIA funds for dislocated workers are approved and allocated by the Governor's Board. All funds are to be expended in a timely manner to ensure Ohioans receive needed assistance to find work.
