Ohio Learn to Earn is a training program that can help you gain work experience, build your resume and network with potential employers while continuing to receive unemployment benefits.

If you are currently receiving unemployment benefits:
• You can participate in an approved work site training program for up to 24 hours a week for six weeks.
• Participation is voluntary and will not affect your unemployment benefits.
• You will be placed in a training program that matches your skills and interests.
• You may decline any training and will not be penalized for doing so.
• If you currently receive unemployment compensation, you will continue to receive compensation and you must continue to meet weekly work search requirements.
