The Ohio Works Incentive Program (OWIP) provides incentives to the local areas for job placement and retention of individuals into on-the-job training or unsubsidized employment. The goal of the program is to reduce dependency on the Ohio Works First program while strengthening Ohio’s workforce. Ohio Works First recipients needing help finding a job should visit their nearest OhioMeansJobs Center.
