Question:
If a youth knows his or her parent’s income, can he or she self-attest this information for CCMEP eligibility purposes?
Answer:

For determining income eligibility for TANF-funded services, the youth can self-attest using JFS 03002. For determining income eligibility for WIOA-funded services, the Lead Agency must use the JFS 18136 Self-Attestation form. See Attachment A: Allowable Source Documentation for WIOA Program Eligibility, found in WIOAPL 15-07: Source Documentation for WIOA Eligibility. OAC rule 5101:14-1-04.
