The Information Sharing coordinator in the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services Office of Unemployment Insurance Operations manages information sharing activities which includes the functions of:
- Agreement Development
- Technical Assistance
- Monitoring of Information Sharing Agreements
- Agreement Maintenance
- Responding to various requests for wage record cross matches.
Agreement Development: This function includes reviewing requests from other agencies to share information, a determination regarding the ability to share the requested information, develop the methodology for sharing the information and providing assistance in drafting an information sharing agreement.
Monitoring: This function involves monitoring information sharing activities to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, rules, regulations and the agreement. Monitoring is conducted through physical onsite inspections and the completion of questionnaires.
