The survey was conducted between November 2002 and January 2003 using an all-telephone approach. The vendor conducting the survey used the Consumer Assessment of Health Plans (CAHPS) 2.OH Adult and Child core survey questionnaires.
The 2002 Consumer Satisfaction Survey for Medicaid Managed Care Plans compares results of surveys conducted in 2001 and 2002. The same survey tool was used for both years. The survey analyzes and rates consumers' satisfaction with individual managed care plans. The survey includes topics such as general satisfaction with the health plans, clinical care, access to care, providers, and asks about the consumer's health status. A brief overview of the statewide findings is contained in the Executive Summary. The Detailed Findings Report contains an in-depth analysis of the survey results.
