Below are income guidelines for specific Ohio Medicaid programs and populations. Applicants with income greater than listed below should still complete an application; they may be eligible for certain deductions that could reduce their income to help them qualify. Actual determination of eligibility is done at the county departments of job and family services.

The 2008 guidelines are based on the federal poverty level (FPL).

• Healthy Start & Healthy Families - Health care coverage for children, pregnant women and families
• Older Adults & People with Disabilities - Health care coverage for adults (age 65 and older) and individuals (of any age) with disabilities
• Medicare Premium Assistance Program - Provides assistance with all or part of their Medicare Part B premiums, co-payments and/or other deductibles
• Medicaid Buy-In for Workers with Disabilities - Health care coverage for working Ohioans (age 16-64) with disabilities. This program begins April 1, 2008.
