ProtectOHIO is Ohio's federal Title IV-E Demonstration Project. It is a five year research and demonstration project designed to reduce the number of children in foster care, decrease the time children remain in foster care and promote adoptions. The Department submitted a request and received approval from the United States Department of Health and Human Services to extend this Demonstration for five additional years.
