| Private Agency Tutorial Training Initiative |

| Three self-guided training tutorial presentations have been created to assist the Private Agencies of Ohio with completing the Family and Children Services Information System (FACSIS) data entry forms. These optional tutorials are intended to supplement the data entry form written instructions as communicated in the FACSM Transmittal Letter # 124. |

| As you walk through each, the tutorial will refer you to the Micro-FACSIS Usage Document and the Micro-FACSIS Glossary for a more detailed explanation of each Event, Element, and Value. Therefore, prior to beginning a tutorial, please familiarize yourself with the identified chapters of the Usage Document and the identified sections of the Glossary as indicated in the tutorial chart. |

| Micro-FACSIS Usage Document defines all Events, Elements, and Values used in Micro-FACSIS. It is designed to enhance understanding of the purpose and appropriate usage of each Event, and describes the linkage between related Events. Events are listed in the order of case work progression in each functional area of the document. To increase the efficiency with which information can be transmitted to users, the document has been divided into twelve (12) Chapters (A through L) which are listed in the Table of Contents. |

| Micro-FACSIS Glossary defines all Events, Elements, and Values used in Micro-FACSIS. It is designed to enhance understanding of the terms and appropriate usage of each Value within each Event and Element. The Glossary has been reformatted with the Events, Elements, and Values listed in numeric order, not order of data entry process. In addition, an Appendage has been added to the Glossary to include the Local Educational Agencies (LEA) Codes. To increase the efficiency with which information can be transmitted to users, the document has been divided into eight (8) Sections (according to Event number) and the Appendage. |
