Who We Serve

Our Services are program-specific with eligibility requirements defined by law.  We provide a full range of employment and  training services with the primary focus of meeting the needs of veterans and eligible spouses who are unable to obtain employment through basic services provided through OhioMeansJobs Centers.

We target services to veterans with educational and economical disadvantages. This includes, but is not limited to: homelessness or at risk of being homeless, disabilities, criminal record, long-term unemployment, and underemployment.

Available Services

Our trained Disabled Veterans Outreach Program (DVOP) Specialists are located throughout Ohio. They are experienced in veteran employment issues and provide one-on-one assistance with career guidance, job referrals, interview preparation, and job development. With their assistance, veterans can learn about military-friendly employers, job fairs, skills training, and supportive services.

DVOP Specialists work closely with a variety of other local, state, and federal agencies to provide veterans with the support they need to reintegrate into the workforce.
