Quality Achievement Awards (QAA)
Programs that become Step Up to Quality Rated and maintain their Star Rating requirements are eligible to receive an annual Quality Achievement Award. The amount of the award is based on a program's Star Rating, total enrollment and the number of subsidized children served at the program.
The purpose of the award is to help programs maintain and improve the quality of early care and education and afterschool services at the program site.
