Child Care in Ohio - Resources for providers

First Aid Training for child care providers working in licensed centers or Type A Homes is required by Rules 5101:2-12-27 and 5101:2-13-27. This training can be taught by an authorized trainer for a health organization approved by the department in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Health.

Please note: All First Aid AND CPR classes must be "in-person" trainings or a blended course with an in-person skills test completed to demonstrate skills mastered.
