The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) Child Care will post updates to policies, licensing, CCIDS, Step Up To Quality and other pertainent information on this new page on a regular basis.  This page will post new information in one place and direct users to the various areas of the website where updates are located and for further information.

2016 Child Care Market Survey

The Ohio State University, Statistical Consulting Services, on behalf of the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), recently sent an email to all ODJFS Licensed child care providers.  This email contains important information regarding the 2016 Child Care Market Rate Survey. The survey invitation “From” field should display: From: Statistical Consulting Service, on behalf of ODJFS [mailto:noreply@qemailserver.com]

 

If you are an ODJFS Licensed provider please check your email inbox and your spam folder to determine whether you have a survey link and use that link to complete the survey. 

 

If you did not receive an email containing a link to the survey, we still want you to participate in the survey.  Please follow this link which will direct you to a form where you will be asked to provide some basic information, including an email address or physical mailing address.  If you provide an email address, we will send you a link to the on-line survey, if you provide a physical mailing address we will mail you a copy of the survey to complete and return. If you have questions contact the Market Rate Survey Team at 614-292-1529.

Health and Safety Training

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services will accept the ODJFS approved health and safety training in an online format to meet the health and safety training requirements outlined in Chapter 5101:2-14-08 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC). The Health and Safety Training can be offered by organizations other than the county agency when the ODJFS approved curriculum is used.
