Summary:
To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children while in care through licensing / certifying and regulatory activities.
Bureau Mission:
Through public and private partnership, the Bureau of Child Care and Development will work to improve the availability and quality of child care for Ohio's children and families and enhance the delivery of service to families eligible and in need of child care, especially subsidized care.
Bureau Vision:
All adults caring for young children will have access to an array of services and supports needed to ensure the provision of high quality child care for the children they serve.
