An Important Message for Home Care Providers:

We are aware that the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) recently sent letters to providers in Ohio's Medicaid waiver programs notifying them about the new fair share deductions from paychecks for certain types of care providers. This change is in response to enabling language in a new law, H.B. 1, passed by the Ohio legislature last year. SEIU is the elected bargaining representative of the independent home health care providers. For more information about the fair share deduction, please contact SEIU at 1-888-388-5612.
