House Bill 398 included successor liability provisions which provide an alternative to vendor holds when a nursing facility (NF) or intermediate care facility for the mentally retarded (ICF-MR) close or execute a change of operator. The links below provide model successor liability agreements. Successor liability agreements in other formats will require additional review by the Department.
