Bureau of Clinical Management
The Bureau of Clinical Management's goal is to provide high quality clinical oversight for prospective and retrospective Medicaid services.
The Bureau is divided into two sections: the Clinical Review Section (CRS) and the Case Development Section (CDS). CRS contains all the clinical staff; the staff reviews medical documentation to determine program enrollment and medical necessity. CDS provides all the support services to ensure a medical determination can be made and communicates that information to providers, case workers and consumers.
