The trainings are free of charge. Transportation, lodging and meals are the responsibility of the participants. Space will be given on a first come, first serve basis once the registration is sent out. We will give priority to those individuals who need training to fulfill a contract obligation with the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund.

Action for Children invites you to participate in a free Train-the-Trainer event to introduce Ohio’s newly state-approved curriculum. (Funded by the Ohio Children's Trust Fund)
Keeping Children Safe: Child Abuse and Neglect Curriculum for Early Childhood Professionals
Training Dates:
Tuesday, May 7, 2013 - Cleveland, Ohio
Thursday, May 9, 2013 - Columbus, Ohio
The training includes techniques to give child-care providers the information they need to not only identify and understand child maltreatment, but to engage families regarding access to parent education, social connections and concrete supports in their communities. Questions for discussion, ways to take action and suggestions are all part of this experience.
